TAITO Corporation (TAITO), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd., today announced the release of the SPACE INVADERS INFINITY GENE -EVOLUTIONAL THEORY- soundtrack album. The album is available for download via the iTunes Store.

SPACE INVADERS INFINITY GENE is a shooting game with evolution as its central theme. Released for the iPhone and iPod touch in July of 2009, digital distribution on the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft edition via Square Enix followed in September of 2010. SPACE INVADERS INFINITY GENE received several awards both domestically and abroad, and continues to receive strong support worldwide. Sharing the game’s evolutionary theme, the soundtrack’s fresh techno sound has also received international critical acclaim, and its appeal spreads far beyond the game music genre.

Entitled SPACE INVADERS INFINITY GENE -EVOLUTIONAL THEORY-, this comprehensive soundtrack collects all of the music from the iPhone/iPod touch/iPad version as well as the subsequent PlayStation 3 system/Xbox 360 release.
