Konami is bringing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection to San Diego Comic-Con in a major way this year with its own dedicated Turtle Lair Gaming Lounge. Anyone with an SDCC badge can turtle their way in the lounge to play the games, and get a chance to meet developers and special guests including Konami’s Charles Murakami, Digital Eclipse’s Chris Kohler, and, of course, TMNT Co-Creator Kevin Eastman.
Konami is also hosting the TMNT Cowabunga Collection Panel on July 22 from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. PT to discuss the franchise’s past and present, along with a discussion on how these games changed the industry forever.
If you or your team is headed to SDCC this year, definitely make sure to stop by the gaming lounge to get some hands-on time with the collection (bring friends – we’ll have multiplayer available)!
The first 500 people who arrive at the Turtle Lair will get a chance to win some great giveaway items, including a limited-edition print of original TMNT artwork from Kevin Eastman himself.
