GameSamba’s browser-based Viking MMORTS Tribal Trouble 2 isn’t set to begin its open beta until the end of July, but starting July 6 former GameSamba testers will be granted early access to the game. Not only will testers be given a headstart, but in the coming weeks keys will be given away through select partner sites, giving those who have followed the game a chance to also jump in early.
"Unlike the typical RTS, Tribal Trouble 2 is a more casual and fast-paced, with a whimsical style aimed at a broader demographic," said Slava Zatuchny, the game’s producer. "While typical RTS games use mechanics ranging from complexity to realism, in Tribal Trouble 2 we chose instead to concentrate on fun. From the ranged Chicken Punisher unit to the waddling Lure Blaster who belts out tunes that are literally stunning, we wanted to allow players to get to the action rather than concentrate on time consuming resource collection and tech trees."
Played entirely in a web browser on both PC and Mac and featuring 3D graphics, Tribal Trouble 2 will be free-to-play, allowing all gamers to quickly join in on the fun.
Players can learn more about the game and get a list of partner sites by visiting the official site at www.tribaltrouble2.com. In addition, players can register at www.gamesamba.com, and receive a special promo code when the game launches.
