Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds on the Nintendo 3DS has a lot of what made 2D Zelda titles worthwhile while still introducing new aspects and features to keep players interested. It’s about as perfect as a sequel gets.
Though the core gameplay remains pretty unchanged, the newest Pokemon X and Y game does add a lot of nice extras, including tons of new Pokemon, battle modes and a deeper storyline. It’s a must have for true fans.
Nintendo decided to do something different at this year’s E3 Expo. Instead of putting on a huge presentation at the show, they instead made a presentation video showing all the new titles scheduled for their Wii U and Nintendo 3DS platform. The are going a step further, trying to bring E3 to everyone who can’t make the main show. Known as the Nintendo Network, it will be compatible with the Wii U and the 3DS. Nintendo has confirmed a European release for The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower. These two games are highly sought after by RPG fans and will finally be coming to the Wii in Europe in 2012. Whispered in the same reverential tones as Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story comes from the creator of Final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi and Pandora’s Tower offers more JRPG goodness.
