Valve is unveiling its annual list of the top-selling and top-played games on Steam in 2018. Like last year, they have built five lists including: Top Sellers, Top New Releases, Top Selling VR Titles, Top Early Access Grads, and Most Played Games. Todd is binging out, playing lots of great games this summer after acquiring many of them in the ongoing Steam Summer Sale. Todd bought 11 games for $70, which would have normally cost about $280. The Steam Sale is mostly great, but it’s easy to get a bit carried away.

Valve kicked off its first-ever Steam Dev Days Conference by announcing the continued growth of Steam, a leading platform for PC, Mac, and Linux software. In addition, Valve detailed Steam’s 2013 geographic performance to the more than 1,200 Dev Days attendees. In the trailing three months the number of active Steam accounts jumped 15%, to 75 million from 65 million (announced October 2013). Valve today announced the beta launch of Steam Reviews, adding more ways Steam users may share their experiences with others and make more informed purchase decisions. Users considering a purchase on Steam may now browse reviews from friends and the community, leave comments on reviews, and indicate which reviews they found helpful.
