Hello everyone! I’m back with the third entry in the thrilling Urban Fantasy/Mystery Ghost Hunter Mystery series! It’s time to party with Ghouls Just Haunt to Have Fun by Victoria Laurie!
Plot Synopsis: When ghost hunter and medium M.J. Holliday appears on a television show called Haunted Possessions, she encounters an evil knife that releases a demon. Now all hell has broken loose in the haunted hotel where M.J. is staying and its up to her to give the uninvited guest an early checkout.
Plot: This entry is still keeping the mystery part of this series up amazingly well and this particular ghostbust of M.J.’s is one hell of a thrill ride from start to finish. I also enjoy that we got away from the East Coast of the U.S. for this book as well, as the plot takes place primarily in San Francisco. I enjoyed this book immensely and I’m now an avid fan of this series.

Characters: The three main characters of the series, M.J., Gilly and Steven return and while Doc is mainly absent from this entry it’s okay. That being said of the newcomers my favorite is probably Heath if only because he’s not a raving lunatic or a scam artist posing as M.J. says it eloquently, as “Count Chocula.” The rest of the cast, including said “Count” are quite interesting, if only because they show how normal a person Heath is.
Overall: This is an excellent entry in what is becoming a series I’m enjoying quite a bit.
